A flawed finale for BHS boys water polo

UNIVERSITY PLACE – The Bainbridge High School varsity boys water polo team were bested 11-4 in their final outing of the season, a nonleague match on the road against Curtis High School Friday, Oct. 27.

It was the last match of the regular season schedule, with the two-day regional tournament set to begin Friday, Nov. 3.

The Bainbridge scoring effort was led by senior Sam Kapel, who managed three goals throughout the match.

Sam Chapman put up one goal, as well.

It was only the team’s second loss of the year, earing them a final record of 15-2.
