William Worthington

William “Bill” Jenner Worthington, 72, passed away on Sept. 18, 2014 in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
He was the beloved husband of Lois (Neville) Worthington; loving father of William Jr. (Leona), Willadee (William) and Kelly Giff; cherished grandfather of Corey, Tanner, Jenner and Killian; dear brother of Doug, John (Kathy), and Willadee predeceased (Jim Tallman). He is sadly missed by many in-laws, nieces (Ell, Beth, Joanna, Suzanne and Tracy), nephews and friends.
He was born in Seattle on Dec. 23, 1941 to John and Elizabeth Worthington.
After graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1961, he attended Olympic College and graduated from Central Washington University in 1968 with a degree in geology.
Bill worked as a geologist in Namibia, South Africa in 1968-1970 and in Sudbury, Ontario, where Bill worked at INCO for 30 years.
Since his retirement Bill enjoyed his summers at the cabin on the lake in Canada and his winters at his home in California, golfing and playing cards with his friends and family.
A private burial ceremony in Quilcene will be at a later date.
