Tom Carncross

Tom Carncross, 56

Tom Carncross died in Seattle on Dec. 15, 2009. He was 56.

He was born July 30, 1953 in Princeton, N.J., to William Carncross and Eunice Amundsen.

With a UC-Berkeley physics degree, Tom worked as an optical engineer for many years.

Tom married Karen Crossan Wiborg in 1987 and they moved to Bainbridge Island in 2003.

He is survived by wife Karen, daughters Narnia Wiborg and Allegra Wiborg of Seattle; sons Geo Carncross (Tracy) of Easton, Md., John Carncross (Mahrya) of Seattle and Gabriel Wiborg (Porntip) of Kenmore; granddaughter Melissa Rose Carncross of Easton, Md.; sisters Chris Corazon McKenzie of Stanwood, Julia Carncross Roscher of Mount Vernon, and brother Eric Carncross of Everett.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. An online guest book is at www.cookfamilyfuneralhome.com.
