Naomi Ruth Robeck

September 14, 1917 – November 1, 2010

      Naomi Ruth Robeck, 87, of Yakima, passed away peacefully Monday, November 1, 2010 at her home.

      Naomi was born September 14, 1923 in Seattle, WA to William and Leona (Seifert) Carr. She was raised and educated in Seattle. She married Roy Leonard Robeck on May 26, 1945 in Seattle. They moved to Bainbridge Island, WA and then moved to Arizona where Roy worked. The family moved back to Bainbridge Island in 1964 and later settled in Port Ludlow, WA. She moved to Yakima ten years ago to be close to family.

      Naomi was a homemaker. She especially enjoyed her children, family gatherings and was loved by all. She enjoyed hosting family and friends and will be deeply missed.

      Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Roy L. Robeck of Yakima, sons, Roy J. Robeck (Gwen Lewis) of Yakima, and Steven C. (Diane) Robeck of Tonasket, WA; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Eric, Jason, Troy and Chad Robeck, Kelley Tsai, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Irene Rudasill and a granddaughter, Kirstin Robeck.

      Memorial services will be at a later date. Inurnment will be in Seabold Cemetery, Bainbridge Island, WA. Memorials may be made to the Yakima Specialties Foundation, c/o Affordable Funeral Care, P.O. Box 9907, Yakima, 98909.
