Michael Shawn Closser passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2020 in Poulsbo, Washington. Shawn was born on July 9, 1972 in Pasco, Washington.

He is survived by his parents Michael E. Closser and Loretta Ruth Closser-Wieman, his sister Rachelle Closser, and his brother JR Closser and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Everyone would tell you that he is a kind, loving, helpful person.

Shawn was responsible for the distribution of commercial and residential newspaper accounts for over 25 years on Bainbridge Island! He was known for his work ethic by both his employers and hundreds of customers he faithfully served 7 days a week, Shawn worked to insure his clients were taken care of.

Shawn was an exceptional athlete and was recruited on a select team for regional and state tournaments for soccer! He was an avid fan of both the Seattle Seahawks and University of Washington Huskies.

Shawn will be missed by all who knew him.

Due to COVID- 19, a Memorial Service is being delayed.

In lieu of flowers, Shawn’s family is asking for donations to be made to the Harborview Mission of Caring Fund in Seattle.
