Lois E. Ebel

Longtime island resident Lois E. Ebel, 92, died July 14.
She worked on the Kalakala ferry. She was a professional musician who played the organ in many Seattle clubs. She also played the pipe organ in the capitol building in Olympia.
She owned and managed several businesses and retired from a government job in Seattle. She enjoyed her garden and friends on the island.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Darlene Somers; two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
