Longtime Bainbridge Island resident June Holen, age 80, died July 21 at Island Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 28, 1922 in Seattle to James and Ina (Wright) Davis. Following graduation from Bainbridge Island High School, she worked as a bookbinder in Seattle. After marrying Kenneth Holen, she became a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, spending time in the garden and making new friends on the CB radio.

One son, Paul (Jan) of Bainbridge Island, survive her.

At her request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home, Bainbridge Island.
