Jeannine Jacqueline Godwin, of Bainbridge Island, died peacefully at home on Aug. 26. She was 85.
She was born in St. Polycarpe, Quebec Canada, Dec. 21, 1923, and immigrated to the United States in 1953. Having lived in California and Arizona, she found home on Bainbridge Island in 1965 with her husband Kenneth (deceased) and son Glen.
She is survived by her son, Glen; daughter-in-law Kerri; and grandsons James and Matthew, of Kent.
At her request no formal services will be held; a gathering of friends and family will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 12. Please contact the family for details at kerriaberri@comcast.net.
