Hazel Alberta Johanson (Mesher)

Hazel Alberta Johanson (Mesher) Died peacefully on June 24, 2025 in her 92nd year after a life filled with love and family. While her health deteriorated in her final years, she never lost her feisty spirit and sense of humor. She is survived by her children Anita (Josef), Linda (Michael), Skip (Linda) and Steve (Theresa); her grandchildren Zelina, Karl, Shannon, Kylee, Paris, Sarina and Laura; and by eight great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband George in 2009, her parents Wallace and Lucy, her sister Georgia, grandson Adrian and great-grand daughter Emma. Many thanks to the staff at Merrill Gardens in Tukwila for their care and compassion over the past 3 years and to the staff at St. Anne Hospital(Burien) for their care in her final days. A family graveside service will be held at noon on July 9 on Bainbridge Island.
