Dorothy Irwin

Former longtime Bainbridge Island resident Dorothy Irwin, age 90, died Oct. 4 in Everett.
She was born June 3, 1915, in Salem, Ore., to Fredrick and Aimee Rosenburg.
She worked as a clothing designer and an art gallery manager. Her interests included playing scrabble, going to the theater and ballet. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Brown and her brother Son Rosenburg.
She is survived by her son Tom Irwin of Corvallis, Ore.; her sister Grace Cathey of Portland, Ore; her grandchildren, Aimee Brown of Snohomish and Spencer Irwin of Corvallis, Ore.
An inurnment service will be at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at St. Barnabas church on Bainbridge Island.
Arrangements are by Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Lynnwood.
