Carol Barrow

March 29, 1934 – May 11, 2025

Carol joined her husband Bill in the afterlife on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025. Born in Poulsbo, WA in 1934; She grew up in Poulsbo, WA and Kodiak, AK. She graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1952, attended Olympic College, and was certified as a Medical Technologist through the US Society of Pathology. After College, Carol worked in medical labs in Miami, Florida; then returned to Seattle to work at Providence Hospital. In the summer of 1958, she met her future husband, Bill. Carol and Bill had two sons, Todd and Blake, and moved to Bainbridge Island in the summer of 1966, where they stayed until Bill passed in 2021. When the boys reached school age, Carol resumed her career at Bainbridge Island Medical Center, where she continued to work until she retired to help Bill with his real estate company in the 90s. Carol was a caring wife, mother and grandmother, a lifetime Husky fan, a fabulous cook and seamstress, and loved entertaining. Her last two weeks were spent in her favorite place, Maui, where family and friends had gathered to celebrate her grandson’s wedding. During this time, she was surrounded by loved ones, and in true Carol fashion, her condo was a center of activity. Carol is survived by her sons Todd and Blake, grandchildren Elizabeth, Madeleine, Kaitlyn, and Quinn, and her sister Nan.
