Albert Alfred Arcand

September 14, 1923 – December 3, 2010

      Albert Alfred Arcand, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Hospice of Kitsap County Care Center in Bremerton, WA. He was born on September 14, 1923 in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was 87 years of age.

      Albert was a WWII Navy Veteran. He is survived by his children; Jeremiah Arcand (Debbie) of Yakima, WA, Denise Wolber (Michael) of Jasper, GA, Albert Arcand, Jr. of Woodbridge, VA, Edward Arcand (Darcy) of Silverdale, WA, Colette Arcand (Ronda) of Hana, HI and Andrew Arcand (Crystal) of Silverdale, WA and Michele Arcand of Bainbridge Island, WA. He also leaves behind his sisters Geraldine Daniel of Georgia and Shirley DeRoche of Florida. There are fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Arcand and son Paul Arcand.

      Family and friends attended the Recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial was followed with a reception at the church’s Conger Hall. Interment will take place at Kane Cemetery on Bainbridge Island with full military honors.
