Zelda and Boonie are this week’s adoptable pets

This week’s adoptable pets are Zelda and Boonie.

For adoption through PAWS:

Zelda is an 11-year-old shorthaired tortoiseshell female who came in over a year ago from an overcrowded shelter where she’d been turned in when her owner died. She has “tortitude” in profusion.

You can meet Zelda at the Pleasant Beach adoption center (open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday).

For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:

Boonie, a super handsome 8-year-young male Pit mix, is calm, friendly and loves walks.

He is a low-key boy and happy to entertain himself with toys or snoozing in the grass at your feet.
