Bainbridge Island will see a soggy start to the weekend.

That’s the latest weekend weather forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

A 20 percent chance of rain showers is forecast for Saturday, starting after 11 a.m.

The day is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 69 degrees.

On Saturday night, skies will be mostly clear, with the low temperature dropping to around 51.

Sunday will be sunny, with a high near 73.

A few clouds will roll in overnight, and a low around 53 is forecast.

A chance of showers is expected early next week, but the Fourth of July should be mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
