Weekend weather report: More liquid sunshine | The Bainbridge Blab

OK, truthfully, there’s going to be more “liquid” than “sunshine” this weekend.

That’s how this weekend’s weather is shaping up on Bainbridge Island, according to the most recent forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

The raindrops will keep falling on our heads all day Saturday, as the chance of precipitation stands at 100 percent. Up to a half inch of rain is possible during the day.

The temperature will top out at a high near 54 degrees.

On Saturday night, expect more rain, and a low of around 49. Winds from the south of around 9 mph are also in the forecast.

Come Sunday, more rain likely before 11 a.m., with showers following.

The high will hover around 60.

The chance of showers is about 40 percent on Sunday night, and skies will stay mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

The weather improves Monday, with partly sunny skies expected, and Tuesday should be clear and sunny.
