A scorcher!

That’s what Bainbridge Island can expect this weekend, weather-wise, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Friday’s sizzling weather will continue through the weekend on the island, and next week as well.

Friday’s high is expected to be near 82 degrees, but Saturday will be hotter, with a high near 83.

Sunny and clear skies are forecast for the whole weekend.

The thermometer will dip down to a low around 56 overnight Saturday, but Sunday is expected to heat up to a high near 87.

Temperatures in the mid to low 80s will continue through much of the week.
