Weekend weather report: Greetings, stranger | The Bainbridge Blab

An unfamiliar sight may be seen in these parts Saturday.

It’s called “rain.”

According to the latest weekend weather forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle, Saturday will see a bit of rain on the island.

Maybe. Forecasters say there is just a 20 percent chance of rain.

Otherwise, expect patchy fog before 9 a.m. and a cloudy day that will gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 59 degrees.

Saturday night, skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Sunday will live up to its name, with a mostly sunny day and a high near 64.

Partly cloudy skies may return overnight, and the low may fall to around 43.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

And the chance of rain returns Tuesday, followed by likely rain Wednesday and a chance of rain/thunderstorms at night.
