Bainbridge Island will have a wetter weekend than the ones Islanders have seen in the past few weeks.

That’s the forecast for this weekend’s weather, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

There is a 30 percent chance of showers for Bainbridge on Saturday, mainly after 11 a.m. The day is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 72 degrees.

The chance of showers continues Saturday night. It will stay mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.

On Sunday, expect partly sunny skies, with a high near 70.

It will be mostly cloudy Sunday night, and the low will drop to around 50.

Sunny weather is back on tap for Monday and Tuesday, with rain returning to the forecast on Wednesday and Thursday.
