Watch for slow vehicles trimming vegetation from Poulsbo to Bainbridge Island

It will happen Sept. 14-17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Washington Department of Transportation is warning commuters that travel on Highway 305 through Bainbridge Island to be mindful of slower traffic this week.

WSDOT crews will be using slow-moving equipment to trim brush and vegetation away from the highway from Sept. 14-17.

This work must be done during the day due to safety concerns, however, crews will be mindful of traffic backups and will pull over when necessary.

Work is set to begin at 9 a.m. and go until 3 p.m.

WSDOT asks that folks be mindful of their speed when passing these work zones.
