The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will get a bit of tech help at its meeting next week.

The group will host guest speaker Zachary Abernathy from the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind.

Abernathy will bring the group up to date on the latest in the App Store, and devices for visually impaired persons. There will be time for a question-and-answer session. Members are encouraged to bring their

smart phones/tablets and any portable tech devices.

Members should bring their most useful tool, and share information about it with the group.

The support group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
