The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will meet next week to learn about emergency preparedness.

The group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The guest speaker is Amber Richards, Bainbridge Island’s emergency

management coordinator. Richards will talk about emergency preparedness, and give tips, plus explain the importance of having an emergency plan.
