Washington State Ferries is advising ferry travelers to prepare for more snowy weather early next week.
The National Weather Service office in Seattle has issued a winter weather advisory for most of the region that will be in effect from Sunday, Feb. 10 through Monday, Feb. 11.
A winter storm watch is also in place for the afternoon of Monday, Feb. 11 through Tuesday, Feb. 12.
The storms are expected to bring more snow to some areas of Western Washington.
WSF said ferry riders should give themselves plenty of extra time to arrive to the terminal before their desired departure. It may take longer than normal to reach the terminals, and depending on weather conditions, officials said, it may take crews longer to load the vessels.
