Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to plan for road closures on Saturday, June 21 in Seattle.

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle ferry route to plan for road closures on Saturday, June 21 in Seattle.

According to WSF, the city of Seattle will block vehicle traffic south and northbound on Highway 99, Second Avenue and Fifth Avenue from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.

Alaskan Way along the waterfront will remain open south and northbound for WSF customer access to and from Colman dock.

WSF is advising travelers to plan ahead and prepare for added travel time.
