TRAVEL ADVISORY | Ferries to be busy due to Seahawks game

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect heavier-than-usual foot traffic Thursday night.

More riders are expected to head into Seattle as the Seahawks take on the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field.

The game starts at 7 p.m.

WSF suggests that passengers pre-purchase their return ferry tickets online or at a kiosk.

Ferry capacity is also being reduced on the Bremerton-Seattle route; the 90-vehicle capacity M/V Sealth has replaced the 188-vehicle capacity M/V Walla Walla.
