TRAVEL ADVISORY | Ferries running late on Bainbridge route

Both vessels on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle ferry route were reportedly running up to 40 minutes late Tuesday morning following unscheduled maintenance aboard the ferry M/V Puyallup.

The Puyallup left Seattle for its 7:55 a.m. sailing without passengers, according to Washington State Ferries, so maintenance on the vessel could be done.

The boat returned to its schedule with the 8:45 a.m. Bainbridge departure, but both the Puyallup and the M/V Tacoma then slipped off schedule.
