Three more cases of COVID-19 found in Kitsap County

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is 148, officials with the Kitsap Public Health District reported Monday.

That’s up by three since Friday.

None of the new confirmed cases of the coronavirus were found on Bainbridge Island; the number of COVID-19 cases on the island remains at 11.

The last case found on Bainbridge Island was reported three weeks ago, on April 6.

The new cases were reported April 24, April 25 and April 26.

Two were in Bremerton, and one was in South Kitsap.

Bainbridge Island had the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Kitsap County, back on March 8.

Of the 148 cases, 41 have been reported in Bremerton, 39 in South Kitsap, 30 in North Kitsap, 27 in Central Kitsap and 11 on Bainbridge Island.

Two deaths from COVID-19 in the county have been reported as of April 22.
