Spartronics face first test this Saturday in robot competition

Bainbridge High's Team Spartronics will travel to Glacier Peak High School this weekend for their first robotics competition.

Bainbridge High’s Team Spartronics will travel to Glacier Peak High School this weekend for their first robotics competition.

The rookie student team, led by Coach Enrique Chee, has spent the last six weeks designing and building a robot that is competition worthy.

The Spartronics are one of more than 2,000 teams worldwide that will be competing in multiple regional competitions.

Opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Glacier Peak High in Snohomish.
