Siren and Benny are this week’s adoptable pets

This week’s adoptable pets are Siren and Benny.

For adoption through PAWS:

Siren is an 18-month-old, short-haired tabby female who came in from Ocean Shores after being turned in by her owner with her kittens.

He threatened to drown them all if the shelter wouldn’t take her. They did and now she’s here with PAWS looking for a home of her own. (She figured out how to bust out of the cage on the transport here and rode shotgun the whole way back.)

You can meet Siren and other cats at the PAWS Pleasant Beach adoption facility, open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:

Meet Benny, a super handsome, playful and fun guy.

He loves lounging in the yard, watching the world go by out the window, and getting pets and attention from his family.

After some play time, Benny is a total couch potato and loves to lounge by your side.

Benny can be uncomfortable and nervous in new situations and with new people, so he is looking for a quiet home without too many visitors and with no kids. He’s currently in foster care, so if you’re interested in meeting him, e-mail sfairweather@kitsap-humane.org.
