It’s time to empty the garage of those outdated tech items that are gathering dust and cobwebs.

Bainbridge Island Boy Scout Troop 1496 will once again hold its annual Electronic Recycling Day, and this year’s event is planned for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at First Baptist Church.

Islanders can support Bainbridge Scouting and Troop 1496 and recycle their old electronics at the same time. Residents can drop off their used iPhones, iPads, printers and small appliances, which will be recycled. Items can be dropped off, or people can contact to schedule a free pick-up.

First Baptist Church is at the corner of Madison Avenue and Highway 305.
