Bainbridge park officials are expected to approve a bid on a contract to build the new pickleball courts at Battle Point Park at their meeting next week.

The board of commissioners for the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 at Strawberry Hill Center, 7666 NE High School Road.

Commissioners are also expected to determine the finalists for the vacancy on the park district that was prompted by the resignation late last year of Michael Pollock.
