Bainbridge parks officials have modified their meeting schedule to the upcoming New Year holiday.

The meetings in January for the board of commissioners of the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will be held on Jan. 9 and Jan. 23, the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.

Beginning in February, park officials said the board meeting dates will return to the first and third Thursdays of the month.

Also, the board meeting originally planned for Jan. 23 has been canceled as there will not be a quorum.
