Kitsap readers lining up for next Trump tell-all

The author is a mystery.

But here’s something that’s no surprise: Kitsap readers are eager to crack the cover of “A Warning,” a behind-the-scenes account of the Trump White House that’s reportedly been written by Anonymous, the author of an explosive op-ed that was published by the New York Times last September.

In that guest editorial opinion, titled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration,” the unnamed author claimed to be a senior official in the White House and one of a small group working to contain or block Trump’s “worst inclinations.”

The author’s subsequent book on the topic, titled “A Warning,” is expected to be released Nov. 19.

Kitsap readers are already lining up to get their hands on the book.

Micah Wulfers of the Kitsap Regional Library said the library system has ordered nine print copies of the book.

And though the book’s release date is nearly a month away, a wait list for the tell-all has been started at Kitsap Regional Library.

As of Tuesday morning, the wait list had grown to 25 people.

“As it gets more exposure and more people place holds, we will definitely add more copies as needed,” Wulfers said in an email to the Review.

“We have to wait until the release date to place our order for the ebook copies, but we will add those to our collection as soon as we can,” she added.
