Historic Bainbridge site may be listed on registry

The Bainbridge Island Historical Preservation Commission will hold a special meeting next week to consider adding the historic Bucklin property on Bucklin Hill Road to the local historic register.

The property is the location of the historic Bucklin Hill Farm, which was homesteaded in 1887. The land is now home to Hyla Middle School.

The commission will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 in the council conference room at Bainbridge Island City Hall.
