Ferry sailing delayed by lack of crew

The first ferry sailing from Bainbridge Island to Seattle Thursday was delayed due to a lack of available crew for the ferry M/V Wenatchee.

The 4:45 a.m. sailing from Bainbridge was delayed approximately 15 minutes due to a shortage of Coast Guard-documented crew, according to Washington State Ferries.

The Bainbridge Island-Seattle run was back on schedule with the 5:30 a.m. sailing from Seattle.
