Donald Paul Schwartz passed away peacefully at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on March 6, 2015.

Don is survived by his wife, Kristen Schwartz; his parents, William and Della Schwartz; brothers Dale Schwartz, Dave Schwartz (Deborah) and Mark Schwartz; sisters Barbara From (Bill) and Julie Schwartz; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Scott and Hazel Preston, grandparents Peder and Florence Pedersen, and nephew Christopher Schwartz.

Don was born on Aug. 21, 1963 in Bellevue to William and Della Schwartz. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1981.

He married Kristen Komedal on Nov. 15, 1986.

Don and Kristen owned a business and enjoyed working and traveling together. He loved their trips to visit friends on the East Coast, Victoria, B.C., Eastern Washington and the Oregon Coast. He also enjoyed beachcombing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, rockhounding, camping at Ocean Shores and Lake Cushman, and spending time with family and friends.

A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at Sequim Bible Church, with a reception to follow at the church.
