Couple join hands in marriage on Bainbridge Island

Couple ties knot on Bainbridge

Carolyn M. Milander, daughter of Vicki and Marty Milander, Bainbridge Island, shared the sacrament of marriage with Cody L. Hunter, son of Chris and Roseann Hunter of Nashville, Tennessee, in an Oct. 12, 2019 wedding ceremony at Grace Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island.

Performing the double-ring ceremony was Pastor Paul Stumme-Diers, Bethany Lutheran Church.

The bride, a 2012 graduate of Bainbridge High School, earned her associate degree in nursing (RN) from Olympic Community College and her bachelor of science in nursing degree (BSN) from the University of Washington. She is currently working as a charge nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Swedish Hospital.

The groom earned his bachelor of science degree in computer engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is presently employed as a senior software development engineer for Zillow. He also has a passion for music and is a widely known lyricist and performer (aka Bug Hunter).

The couple are making their home in Seattle.
