Confirmed COVID-19 cases at 166, KPHD says

Kitsap County positive test rate is about two percent, four new cases reported in the last two weeks

Kitsap County is home to a total of 166 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the Kitsap Public Health District’s 2 p.m. update Monday. Since May 25, four new cases have been confirmed by the Kitsap Public Health District.

A total of 8,611 residents have tested negative — of those tested, the positive test rate has dropped to about 2 percent.

Of the 166 cases, 53 have been reported in Bremerton, 39 in South Kitsap, 34 in North Kitsap, 29 in Central Kitsap and 11 on Bainbridge Island. Two coronavirus-related deaths have been confirmed by Kitsap Public Health District as well.

The age breakdown for confirmed cases is as follows:

0 – 19: 7

20 – 29: 29

30 – 39: 21

40 – 49: 29

50 – 59: 42

60 – 69: 19

70 – 79: 13

80 and older: 6
