A special free presentation from BI Climate & Energy Forums will be held from 10 to noon on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church to discuss the pros and cons of carbon offsets.

Two speakers — Derik Broekhoff of the Stockholm Environmental Institute and Michael Gillenwater of the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute — will discuss using carbon offsets and other programs to “offset” carbon emissions.

An open discussion will follow the presentation.
