BI student wins leadership award

Western Washington University student Lauren Seely Wallach, daughter of Timothy and Jennifer Wallach of Bainbridge Island, has been awarded the $1,500 Bowman Family Distinguished Scholars in Leadership Award for the 2018-19 academic year.

The Bowman Family Distinguished Scholars in Leadership Award is given annually to incoming Western students with an interest in the Karen W. Morse Institute for Leadership and the Leadership Advantage Program.

Wallach graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2018 with a 3.6 cumulative GPA.
