Bainbridge blotter | Wick’d crime

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 11

3:41 p.m. A 58-year-old Bainbridge Island man suspected he’d had a recently delivered package stolen from his property.

The man called police to say he’d been expecting a package of eight candles, worth about $160, and though he had no specific tracking or delivery data it had been expected to arrive several days before. He never received the package, he said, suspecting it had been stolen, and was now filing a report so as to receive either a replacement order or a refund.

The man’s residence is not equipped with surveillance equipment and no suspect information is available.

A report was filed.
