Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

SATURDAY, MAY 18

11:28 p.m. A two-car crash on Ericksen Avenue resulted in damage to both vehicles but no injuries.

A 67-year-old Bainbridge woman driving a 2010 Mercedes was traveling north on Ericksen Avenue and had come to stop at the Wyatt Way intersection. Behind her, a 34-year-old Bainbridge woman in a 2018 Subaru failed to realize the other car had stopped and began breaking too late. She smacked the rear of the other vehicle, causing damage to both cars.

The drivers exchanged insurance information in front of police and both declined medical assistance.

Both cars were driven from the scene.
