THURSDAY, AUG. 23

1:53 p.m. A large concrete mixer truck, driven by a Port Orchard man, collided with 2012 Mazda, driven by a Silverdale woman, while attempting to make the turn from Highway 305 onto Day Road.

The truck had been going southbound on the highway and the driver, while taking the turn slowly, misjudged the distance between his vehicle and the Mazda while turning west onto Day Road, striking the front left side of the other car.

There were no injuries.
