Bainbridge blotter | Bicyclist loses control

TUESDAY, SEPT. 25

6:47 a.m. A 57-year-old Bainbridge Island man hit a bump and crashed his bicycle while riding south and downhill on Highway 305, near the intersection of Winslow Way.

After hitting a bump in the pavement, the man went into a slide into the intersection, injuring his shoulder and head. He was transported to Bremerton.

The man’s helmet was cracked and his bike damaged on the right side.

The bike was taken to the police station for safekeeping.
