Bainbridge blotter | A person of low repute

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

12:24 p.m. A manager at The Winslow Arms apartments reported the theft of a glass bowl filled with glass balls, a handmade map and a wooden sculpture from a common area in the building.

The items disappeared sometime over the past two weeks, and the manager said she suspected a person of low repute who had been staying as a guest in the apartments. Though she thought the guest was responsible, she did not have evidence to support her suspicions.

The manager said the missing items weren’t worth anything, but had sentimental value to the people who had made them.

The loss was estimated at $3.
