Two author events at Eagle Harbor Sunday

Eagle Harbor Book Company will host two nonfiction author events on Sunday, Nov. 6.

First, at 1 p.m., author Amanda Mander and artist Deanna Marsh will stop by to discuss their book “Looking Twice: Beautiful Ugly.” These two friends use poetry and imagery to uncover deeper truths by looking beyond what we instinctively see as beautiful or ugly.

Join them for a chat to learn what they discovered about the paradox of beauty and ugliness through their creative collaboration. They’ll also share their journey of self publishing a high quality coffee table book.

Then, at 3 p.m. Dylan Chalk will visit the shop to discuss his book “The Confident House Hunter.”

Whether you are looking for a new home, or simply making sure your current home will be in good shape to sell one day, Chalk, a Bainbridge Island home inspector, has all the information you’ll need bundled up in his book.
