The 28th edition of Bainbridge in Bloom comes a little early this year.

On Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5, five islanders will open their lush gardens and share the stories that have inspired the roots they’ve planted there.

As an added bonus, Arts & Humanities Bainbridge has arranged for live music to accompany each space.

Advance tickets are on sale at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2537183, Bay Hay & Feed and Bainbridge Gardens. Admission for the self-drive tour is $35 for one day or $60 for both.

Tour maps, wristbands and brochures will be distributed at the Bloom Hub at the Filipino American Hall, 7655 High School Road, beginning at 8:30 a.m. both days. The five featured gardens will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with music beginning at 10 a.m.

Bainbridge in Bloom is a major fundraiser for Arts & Humanities Bainbridge. Proceeds support AHB programs and services for local artists, students and cultural organizations to promote self-expression, artistic collaboration and community enrichment.
