Seabold Second Saturday welcomes Jean Mann

Jean Mann, a world-class jazz and folk performer, will be the featured performer at the next Seabold Second Saturday concert.

The show is Saturday, March 9.

Since 2000, Mann — a jazz-tinged, Americana singer-songwriter — has played more than a hundred dates annually; locally, regionally and nationally.

In 2014, she took her songs to Europe, dazzling the masses in France, Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands. With seven original records in her growing catalog, she has performed in such iconic rooms as Yoshi’s in San Francisco, the Tractor Tavern in Seattle, and CBGB’s in New York. She has opened for Peter Mulvey, Peter Himmelman and Blame Sally, and shared the stage with Laura Veirs (Rounder Records) and Vicci Martinez (The Voice).

The hall will open at 7 and sign-ups will be taken until just before 7:30 p.m.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. The featured performer will play after open stage players (limited to 10 acts).

Requested admission is a $5 to $8 donation (no one turned away), and the show is free for kids under 12 and performers.
