IslandWood will present its popular Afternoon on the Trails later this month.

The free community event is a chance for islanders and their families to pick an adventure to explore at IslandWood from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23.

Docents and staff will be available to help select trails for people’s needs and interests. Options include the canopy tour, a chance to explore a different perspective of the forest, or a visit to one of IslandWood’s treehouses.
