mEGGa Hunt returns to Battle Point Park

Are you egg-cited yet?

It’s that time of year again, when the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District again presents the annual free mEGGa Hunt at Battle Point Park.

The festivities go from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20. And this egg hunt goes beyond the ordinary with live entertainment, crafts, games, balloon clowns, face painting and of course egg hunts — more than 7,000 eggs and 80 prizes.

Department officials ask participants please enter Battle Point Park from the west side, off of Battle Point Road.

The event happens rain or shine, and no dogs will be allowed.

Hunt times are staggered: ages 0-2, 9:30 a.m.; ages 3-5, 10 a.m.; grades K-2, 10:30 a.m.; and grades 3-5, 11 a.m.
