Kitsap Humane Society will host its first outdoor benefit concert on Bainbridge Island Saturday, Aug. 16.

Kitsap Humane Society will host its first outdoor benefit concert on Bainbridge Island Saturday, Aug. 16.

“Raise the Woof” will take place at the beautiful Rustica Island Farm and feature two of Seattle’s most popular musical acts.

St. Paul de Vence, a Seattle-based indie folk band notable for evocative storytelling and breathtaking harmonies, will open the evening.

They are followed by the night’s headliner, American soul singer Mycle Wastman.

Wastman, a contestant on season three of “The Voice,” is a refreshing combination of an old soulful vibe R&B sensibility with a splash of pop.

DJ Fever, one of Seattle’s hottest DJs will emcee the event.

Local Bainbridge wineries, breweries, and catering companies will provide refreshments.

Tickets are available at www.kitsaphumanesociety.shindigg.com. General Admission tickets are each $100 and includes admission, dinner, and one beverage.

For the VIP experience, a $250 ticket can be purchased and will include a catered menu by Metro Market Cafe, all drinks, on-site parking and special tableside seating close to the stage.

All proceeds will go directly to Kitsap Humane Society.

The concert begins at 5 p.m., rain or shine.
